The new XP ORX detector inherits some key features from its big brother the XP Deus and comes with a redesigned user interface. The developers of this excellent detector focused on ease of use, high search performance and the unique, low weight. The user interface looks very tidy, is clearly and logically arranged so that operation is almost instinctive. At a sensational 770g, the ORX is a lightweight and currently the lightest detector on the detector market! Thanks to its struts on the upper boom section and the middle boom made of high-tech aviation aluminum, the ORX is also extremely robust.
The sensitivity to small parts on targets such as coins / relics / gold also impresses professional searchers. The fast response times guarantee optimum find separation in iron-contaminated soils, which are often found at old settlement sites, and offer correspondingly high find rates - even where other detectors fail. The HF coil technology detects even on soils that are difficult to detect in a stable manner and even under high-voltage power lines with virtually no interference and extreme sensitivity to very small parts.
The ORX is a completely wireless detector with a patented radio connection to the search coil. The signal evaluation takes place directly in the search coil, resulting in a significantly better signal processing quality than other conventional detectors. The new receiver radio headphone system is designed as comfortable neckband headphones. It rests lightly on the ears and the headband behind the neck prevents it from slipping when digging. The XP Pinpointer MI-6 can be integrated into the ORX. The digital shielding between the wireless headphones and the pinpointer prevents the two devices from interfering with each other.
