The Gold Bug DP locates stable and without disturbing false signals even on heavily mineralized ground. The search depth is impressive, up to an object size of approx. 2 cm it is even superior to the F75 in terms of depth performance. The response speed is excellent and minimizes the undesirable camouflage effect in the case of heavy iron contamination. The Gold Bug DP is very well suited for searching for coins and jewelry and is also a good detector for searching for gold.
It is easy and fun to use. The all metal mode is highly recommended, the ground mineralization is displayed in a nice large and clear way, so that the detector can be optimally adjusted to the ground at any time with the + / - buttons in difficult ground conditions. In all metal mode, the Gold Bug locates much deeper than in disk mode. The conductance figures are shown graphically at the top of the display in all metal mode and simplify object recognition of the located metals.

Super detector, very accurate and precise! Of course, this device also requires some practice. I have noticed two disadvantages: The headphone output on the side is not ideally positioned and putting the detector down in the field is not ideal due to the elongated coil and the raised position of the display on the handle. You can't place the detector on the armrest. Otherwise a really top device, I enjoy using it when out and about.
