XP ORX with 22,5cm double-D high frequency searchcoil
The new XP ORX detector inherits some of the core features of its big brother, the XP Deus, and comes with a newly designed user interface. The developers of this outstanding detector focused on ease of use, high search performance and the unique, low weight. The user interface has a very tidy appearance, is clearly and logically arranged so that operation is almost instinctive. At a sensational 770g, the ORX is a lightweight and currently the lightest detector on the detector market! Thanks to its struts on the upper boom section and the middle boom made of high-tech aviation aluminum, the ORX is also extremely robust.The sensitivity to small parts on targets such as coins / relics / gold also impresses professional searchers. The fast response times guarantee optimum find separation in iron-contaminated soils, which are often found at old settlement sites, and offer correspondingly high find rates - even where other detectors fail. The HF coil technology also detects stably on difficult to detect soils and is virtually interference-free even under high-voltage power lines.
Ultra-light and robust - the new LITE S-telescope boom. The S-shape of the boom makes it particularly easy to swivel. The XP ORX can be assembled and disassembled in seconds using quick-release fasteners.
The ORX is a completely wireless detector with a patented radio connection to the search coil. The signal evaluation takes place directly in the search coil, resulting in a significantly better signal processing quality than other conventional detectors. The new receiver radio headphone system (can be ordered as an option) is designed as comfortable neckband headphones. It rests lightly on the ears and the headband behind the neck prevents slipping when digging. The XP Pinpointer MI-6 can be integrated into the ORX. The digital shielding between the wireless headphones and the MI-6 pinpointer (can be ordered as an option) prevents the two devices from interfering with each other.
Modern user interface that inspires: clear, logical, everything always in view. Simple operation and all important functions integrated. The remote control can be mounted on the boom or worn in an optionally available wristband.
Available as an accessory: The newly designed WSA wireless headphone receiver with volume control (not compatible with XP Deus).

A very good detector that is relatively easy to operate. The selection options are clear, but offer sufficient possibilities to adapt the device to different ground conditions. The pinpointer (MI6) should be paired with the detector as this significantly increases the search performance of the pointer (the first test without pairing was somewhat disappointing - but convincing when paired). The headphones are also highly recommended, as you get much more accurate results. All in all, after some initial skepticism, the detector has fully convinced me.
